Individual Counselling

Individual Counselling is a process through which clients work one-on-one with a counsellor in a safe and caring setting; exploring their feelings, beliefs and behaviour’s to better understand themselves and others. It is a collaboration between the counsellors and the client to form an alliance, relationship or bond that enables trust and enhancement of personal growth. Clients will have space to explore any issues in an honest, unbiased, objective and respectful way.  Clients will set and identify personal goals and work towards improving aspects of their lives they would like to change. The counsellor will help clients to set goals and create objectives to achieve those goals. Together, the counsellor and client will create a tailored individual service plan that addresses each of the client’s individual needs and goals for therapy.
